      Hi,
      Very interesting product.. Some questions:
You know Osx 10.11 comes with metal support.. Con you add support in your product for it? I.e. Metalgl for OS X..
Also seems IOS isn’t getting GL updates stuck at es 3.0 vs currently es3.1 in android .. As Metal exposes es3.0 functionality do you plan to support es3.0 and es 3.1 in the future or is too much work?
And last is a wish.. Hope you can change project to open source model eventually and make profit by offering professional support, patches,etc.. So that others can help with implementing es 3.x support!

Adding support for OpenGL ES 3.0 & 3.1 is definitely a priority for MetalGL, and we’re actively working on it!

We’re also quite excited about Apple’s announcement of support for Metal on OSX! It opens up several interesting possibilities for MetalGL. Look for future announcements from us on that front soon!

At The Brenwill Workshop Ltd., we’re fans of open-source as an effective model for developing and deploying certain types of software products, as we’ve demonstrated with Cocos3D.

However, MetalGL is designed to be a plug-and-play framework, and we believe a direct licensing model provides the best mechanism to develop, maintain, deploy, and support it as a product. At this time, we have no plans to release an open-source version.

Qualified customers who need or want source access may purchase a source-access license for MetalGL by contacting us directly.

          Hello.

Any news on when can we expect MetalGL for ES 3.0?
          Thanx.

Support for OpenGL ES 3.0 is a priority, but at this point we can’t provide a release date.

              Ok, thanx… will wait. :/

Maybe just an estimate? Please? 😉

We assess project priorities based on demand.

Given current project priorities, support for OpenGL ES 3 is not expected until late in 2016.

Support for OpenGL ES 2 on OS X is already available in the current release of MetalGL.
